This family session in Palma de Mallorca was part holiday experience, part beautiful family memory, and part very special announcement. Justine and his family used their time in Mallorca to explore the city while creating photographs together. However, these photographs had an extra purpose: sharing the exciting news that their family was about to become five.
We explored some of Palma’s most distinctive locations throughout the session. From Parc de Mar and the Hort del Rei gardens to Palma Cathedral and the port, every stop offered something different. We also wandered through the charming streets of the historic center, where traditional Mallorcan architecture added an authentic local touch. As a result, the gallery feels like both a family story and a little journey through Palma.
What made the session especially meaningful was the idea behind the photographs. Justine wanted to use them to tell friends and family that another baby was on the way. Rather than making a traditional announcement, they turned their Mallorca experience into part of the story. The city, the holiday and this new chapter all came together naturally.
I especially love this kind of photography because it combines sightseeing with something deeply personal. You can discover Palma’s most beautiful corners while creating photographs that preserve a meaningful moment. Moreover, having a local photographer means finding little streets and details you might otherwise miss. The result is a collection of images that feels personal, relaxed and connected to the place.
Some holidays become unforgettable because they mark the beginning of something new. If you are visiting Mallorca with your family, I would love to document your time here. Send me a message to learn more about family sessions in Palma or reserve your date.
