This birthday photography in Port de Sóller captures a beautiful evening filled with friends, laughter and plenty of celebration. The birthday girl enjoyed every moment surrounded by the people she loves. Moreover, the rooftop setting added a relaxed yet sophisticated feeling to the entire evening.
The weather was cloudy, but that definitely did not stop them from having fun. In fact, the soft light created a flattering atmosphere for photographs. We moved around the rooftop, capturing different moments throughout the dinner. From spontaneous conversations to laughter around the table, every part of the celebration offered something worth remembering.
I wanted the photographs to feel like glamorous paparazzi shots rather than traditional event portraits. Therefore, I focused on candid moments, natural reactions and those little interactions that happen when nobody is posing. The result feels stylish and effortless, while still capturing the personality of the evening. Additionally, having her friends around made everything feel even more genuine and spontaneous.
I really enjoy photographing celebrations like this because the photographs become part of the experience. A birthday dinner is not only about the person celebrating. It is also about the people who show up, the conversations, the inside jokes and everything happening between the planned moments. For that reason, I like staying attentive throughout the event and capturing those unexpected photographs that often become favourites.
