The storm had just passed when we started this couple session in Portal Nous, Mallorca. Moreover, the cloudy sky created a soft and cinematic light that completely transformed the beach. Everything felt calm, quiet and beautifully atmospheric after the rain.
The shoreline was almost empty, which made the entire session feel even more intimate. Meanwhile, they walked slowly by the sea, enjoying the moment together without rushing anything. Sometimes they talked quietly. Other times, they simply laughed and stayed close to each other. In addition, the contrast between the dramatic sky and the warm evening tones gave the photographs a very unique feeling. There was something deeply emotional in the air that afternoon.
Cloudy days have always inspired me creatively. The colours become richer, the light feels softer and every image gains much more depth. Because of that, I approached this session in a very natural and relaxed way. Rather than focusing on perfect poses, I followed their energy and allowed the atmosphere to guide the story. As a result, the photographs feel warm, spontaneous and full of emotion without needing anything forced.
Sometimes the most memorable sessions happen during unexpected weather and imperfect conditions. However, those moments often create the strongest atmosphere and the most meaningful memories.
